Louise & Chris Rogan

We are delighted to welcome back the wonderful and ever popular Louise Rogan accompanied by Chris Rogan.

Described as having a “pure and soaring voice”, Louise is a performer of the highest quality. Audiences enjoy her arrangements of tradtional favourites as well as self-penned songs, often requesting Evie’s Lullaby, a song written to the tune of Jessica’s Lullaby by John McCusker.

In January 2024, Louise headlined at the UK West Coast Folk Festival, a last minute replacement for an unavailable Cara Dillon, performing between music legends Kiki Dee and Richard Thompson.

In 2023, she won the Great British Folk Festival’s Audience Vote.

Described by Tim Fox of FATEA Magazine as “hugely respected’ and as “flawless performers”. The duo released their début album together, Things That Matter, a mix of original and traditional songs which Bob Leslie of FATEA Magazine describes as “one of the best début releases in the traditional genre I’ve heard."

Anna Howells

Anna’s always been surrounded by music. From her Irish roots and playing the saxophone and clarinet from an early age to more recently taking up the guitar. She discovered her voice – smoky, rich and at its best when shared – at a songwriting workshop a few years ago; the fragile beauty of her songs belies a deep strength and exuberance.

Recently, she was selected to take part in a songwriting programme for emerging artists and collaborated on a song with singer-songwriter/producer Boo Hewerdine. 'Hope Flies With Swallow's Wings' was released on the album 'Stages' in October 2023 - then selected for radio play by BBC Music Introducing; presenter Jericho Keys said: "If I did a record of the week, that would most certainly be it".

Reuben and The Bridge

Bridget was immersed into a musical world from a young age. Taking up the violin agaed four, she learnt to play piano and various other instruments, which led her to become a music teacher.

Reuben has always loved to perform, He was a cathedral chorister in Bradford. He later took up acoiustic guitar, being heavily influenced by the local folk scene. The duo have been performing together now for seven years.

Reuben brings his guitar and wramth and pwerful vocals, while Bridget brings her own style of both lyrical and fiery fiddle playing, as well as haunting harmony vocals. Reworking of classic rock and pop songs is their forte, but they also perform original compositions. Expect diversity!
